Baby drag incubator The Nursery has been hard at work nurturing Adelaide’s up-and-coming drag artists, and now they’re ready to bloom before you!
The Nursery is an event that supports beginners looking to set down roots in the world of drag. Seasoned drag mentors are on hand to shower our artists with knowledge and expertise, helping grow their ideas into reality. We have run regular events since 2021, and so far have helped over 20 artists create their own unique drag personas and showcase them in front of an audience. Kings and Queens, monarchs and monsters: all drag is valid, and people of all genders are welcome to be a part of The Nursery.
In Bloom is a chance to celebrate some of our finest alumni, as they show us how much they’ve flourished since their stage debuts. Hosted by the glamorous goblin Felix Cited at our home ground My Lover Cindi. You won’t want to miss this night of unique drag artistry!
Presale tickets are $20, or grab a ticket at the door for $25! Discounts are available for concession holders and First Nations. Doors open 6:45pm for a 7pm show. My Lover Cindi is Wheelchair accessible, for further accessibility information, please refer to their website.
