Ill Starred Captain are a quietly legendary two-piece band, hailing originally from the small coastal town of Port Lincoln in South Australia. Since drummer Justin Francis and singer/guitarist Scott Bassham first set out on the road together as ill Starred Captain, their journey has been an amazing one.

Their music, which can be loosely called “Folk Punk Surfadelia”, is melodic, powerful, fun and incredibly groovy! The band has very much charted their own course for twenty years, performing all over Australia, as well as several tours overseas, and have recorded a string of great albums along the way. Their live alchemy has to be seen to be believed!
