July Session: Doomed!

Divorced? No. Beheaded? Sure. Died? Absolutely! This month, we celebrate The Whole “Being Dead” Thing with songs sung by characters who face their untimely demise during the show. To avoid major spoilers, we won’t name characters; however, the following shows include at least one character who dies: Bonnie & Clyde, Hamilton, Beetlejuice, Heathers, Urinetown, Miss Saigon, Spring Awakening, and Les Misérables (you can choose practically any song from this one!).

We would love to hear you take our (last) breath away, and there’s bonus points for the best death on stage. Please note: no performers were harmed in the making of this Session..

For the opportunity to perform, visit our registration page (www.broadwaysessions.com.au/register) and submit two song options from any musical or written by an established music theatre writer that fit the DOOMED theme. Performer registrations open Sunday 25 June and close on Sunday 16 July.

*While no longer mandatory, the wearing of masks is strongly encouraged.*

Doors are open at 5:45pm. Food and beverages are available from the bar.

A limited number of tickets are now on sale. The remainder of tickets go on sale at 9am on Saturday 22 July.

You are be able to join us in person, OR stream the Session from the comfort of your home!

Unfortunately, you are unable to book a whole table – however the Broadway Sessions team will be allocating seats so you can sit with your family and friends. Tickets bought under the same name will automatically be seated together. If you have any other seating requests, please email them to bookings@broadwaysessions.com.au by 5pm on Wednesday 26 July. We may not be able to accommodate any requests after this time.
