Come one, come all to our Friday night special! The wonderful Khristian Mizzi is coming to town and so we can fit into his tour schedule we’ll be doing a one-off Friday nighter at Stone Pony this April 28. And the wonderful Jessica Luzz, local dreamy pop-country songstress will be opening the show in what will be a beautiful night of story telling and folky goodness.

Winner of the 2021 Folk Alliance award for best solo artist of the year, Khristian has been described by other musicians as having ‘one of Australia’s finest voices’ leaving listeners feeling as though they have experienced something truly special. Poetic lyrics, meandering melodies and ‘a voice which truly moves people’, along with a unique picking style, Mizzi really is a complete artist and is becoming renowned for his intimate performances and thoughtful songs. throughout the country.
2019 saw Khristian release his first full length album. ‘Some Other Morning’ was the result of a year of work captured in one 10 track strong recording. Featuring songs which have become anthems at various Folk Festivals around the country.

Jessica Luxx
Jessica Luxx is a Country/ Folk Singer/Songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Willunga, South Australia. She stems from an ancestry of creatives with roots set in gospel and folk music. Her musical journey has seen her move through work in cover and original bands, various study in vocals/jazz and vocal coaching.
Luxx continues to play festivals and events across SA and Victoria for a wide range of tours, festivals and events bringing vintage flair and colour to life.
Originally a guitarist, she has added piano, banjo, autoharp and harmonica to the repertoire. Inspired by the Carter Family, Joni Mitchell and a plethora range of vintage sounds, Luxx now dedicates herself to writing and performing her original works.
