MUD presents Zeitgeist Freedom Energy Exchange (Naarm)

We hold this space on the unceded land of the Kaurna people. We acknowledge them as the traditional custodians of this wonderful place and will always try to do our work in solidarity with the anti-colonial struggle. Always was, always will be.

First MUD of 2023 woohoo happy days! We are so excited to be putting on a very special gig with the wild and wonderful Zeitgeist Freedom Energy Exchange (ZFEX). If you don’t know them for their own phenomenal output of groove and dance tracks, you may recognise some of the ZFEX lineup from their dope other band 30/70. ZFEX is headed up by drummer Ziggy Zeitgeist and the performance will be augmented for one set by the local crew Kazimierz and visuals/projections by Miles Dunne.
ALSO for this once off special thing we’re jumping into a new space to explore, the beautiful, iconic Queens Theatre. AND it’s on a Sunday. Woah so much new. Can’t bloody wait, it’s gonna be a party. Eyes on this space for more details.

5pm – doors + food!*

6.30pm – Kazimierz

7:30ish – Artist discussion with Ziggy and ZFEX

Never been to MUD? We are a community who hold space for experimentation and exploration of ideas and collaborations. It is a meeting ground for all who value vital creativity; players, dancers, writers, readers, supporters. MUD holds a safe space for trying out new ideas and for the creation of new ideas. It is a space for you (any you; performer or receiver) to try something you’ve never tried before and it’s a community who are excited to see what happens when you do. MUD is ever changing, each will be different from the last, and your experience will be different to anyone else’s. We encourage any and all involvement; if you have an idea, share it, do it. Above all, MUD aims to be a safe and inclusive space and will not tolerate any behaviour which does not uphold these values. MUD is for all of us.
