The Dandy Buzzkills return to Arthur Art Bar with fresh femme punk band Ammonite and shoegaze rockers Maiden Name for a night of all ages live music on May 16th.
The Dandy Buzzkills are a band that’s intentionally hard to define, blending influences ranging from Boris to XTC into a tight, densely packed sound. Known for meticulously crafted recordings and live performances that balance chaos and power, they’ve captivated crowds while amusingly raising Adelaide’s potassium levels with bananas tossed into the audience.
Their debut EP, “I Can Feed the Fish Earthworms,” showcases Maxwell, Hudson, Jack, and Olly’s attention to rich textures and subtle details, rewarding repeated listens.
