Join the 45-piece wind orchestra, the ‘Woodville Concert Band’, for a magical musical adventure for all!
About this event
Composed by local composer Dr Nathan Cummins, experience the beloved Aesop fable come to life, through wind instruments and storytelling designed to inspire the imagination of children and families.
As the story unfolds, children will learn about the different instruments and about the importance of kindness and the power of helpfulness as the lion and the mouse make new and unexpected friends.
Suitable for children aged 3-10 years, and their caregivers. Caregivers must stay with children during the performance.
After the performance, there will be the opportunity for children to further explore the musical instruments up close, and test these out for themselves – courtesy of Consortium Music.
Don’t miss this celebration of local community, live music and storytelling! Bookings are essential.
