Toondilla Way Through Place to Reconciliation
Sun 12 Mar @ 2:00 pm
A Concert of songs, poems and stories from SA’s Fleurieu Peninsula with Dave Clark & Kate Townsend, bringing together First Nations people, musical friends and residents of the Fleurieu. We explore what Reconciliation means, share stories from history and sing about the beauty and richness of the place we now call the Fleurieu Peninsula. A rich Kaurna and Ngarrindjeri culture existed while country was cared for. Lakota Milera Weetra proud Arabunna/Narungga Woman will help tell the story. Toondilla – Way Through Place in Kaurna was a meeting place for Indigenous Australians. We now call it Riverbend Park. Join us in our beautiful Gazebo by the cliffs of Onkaparinga River (Ngangkiparinga) in Clarendon for a captivating, informative afternoon of acoustic music.
