Roadrunner Tours is excited to announce Umlaut and Andy Burns live in Australia this Spring.
Umlaut are the Melbourne based project of Mr Bungle’s Bär McKinnon, a multi instrumentalist extraordinaire. After extensively touring the world, Bär settled in Australia where he has been releasing music ever since.
From shape shifting, stadium rock tracks, to compositions that are fit for a small orchestra, Umlaut are an unmissable live experience.
Featuring a long established lineup of talented hard hitters, Umlaut are continually being discovered by fans all over the world. Umlaut’s lineup consists of Danny Heifetz (Mr Bungle, Secret Chiefs 3), Angus Leslie (Sex on Toast) and Shane Leiber (An Easier Question).
With a highly anticipated new album coming out in February, Umlaut are invigorated, refreshed and ready to perform their new material on the road.
Andy Burns is a former Tokyo-based salaryman turned pianist. Fresh off national tours with Eugene Chadbourne and Jim E. Brown, as well as a string of US tour dates, Burns’ singular blend of chamber pop and one-man-band live shows have garnered equal parts derision and gleeful buzz across Australia over the last year.
Don’t miss your opportunity to see Umlaut and Andy Burns live at The Metro in Adelaide on Fri 1st November
