Wild Places Concert

The Wild Women of Anywhere Beach, Cathy Welsford and Angie Smith, from the mid north coast of NSW, regularly perform at folk, eco and ukulele festivals from Cairns to Hobart and in many inland areas. On their way back from a stint in WA, they are visiting Adelaide, Willunga and Mt Gambier, running workshops and performing and generally sharing a good time.
Wildlife preservation, relationships, feminism, neighbourhood blues, some of the joys of aging, rural life, heroism and standing up to tyrants are amongst the themes they expertly condense into three-minute gems with the talented musicianship and clever lyrics.
Their performances are invariably greeted with enthusiastic acclaim and there’s a high chance you’ll have their song choruses stuck in your head long after the show. Fans keen to experience their trademark satirical wit return again and again to enjoy old favourites and hear their latest offerings.
