ADELAIDE TEEJ DHAMAKA Volume 6

Bhoye Chhen Restaurant & Kalikote Jewellery Adelaide proudly presents “Adelaide Teej Dhamala Volume 6”, a vibrant and culturally rich celebration observed primarily in Nepal???????? Teej features traditional rituals, fasting, and special prayers. Women dress in bright red and green attire, sing folk songs, and perform intricate dance routines. The festival includes a series of religious and cultural events, such as the worship of Lord Shiva and Parvati, and culminates with a festive feast. It’s a time for women to gather, share in the joy of the season, and seek blessings for the well-being of their families.
Join us for a day filled with live music, delicious food, dance and many more. The event will take place on 29th August, 2024 at Woodville TownHall, starting at 5 PM onwards. The entry for this event is FREE, and all ages are welcome. There will be activities for everyone to enjoy, so come out, connect with your friends, family, and make lasting memories.
