Steve Pan

Steve Pan is a Chinese DJ, producer and live performer from Shenzhen. Member of Macau Techno label Asylum and part of OIL Soundsystem. He makes use of dub ambient texture sound, cassette tape loop recording and different elements from Techno, Bass, Downtempo, IDM, Avant-garde, experimental, noise and more to inform his own distinctive style of music. Fusing hi-art, live coding, live mixing and advanced DJing in his live sets, Pan’s performances induce a hypnotic alternate reality experience connected with complex synthetic sensations. Comparing different eras of time in his work – the known past, the uncertain present, and the unknown future. Pan explores realm between Chinese philosophical Taoism and western surrealism, as both ideologies have a huge influence on eastern and western art work. Tao thought form is a beautiful sequence of synergies of flow that unite past present and future in a state of fusion, while surrealism promotes the creative potential of the unconscious mind arrived at by automatism or the exploitation of chance effects and unexpected juxtapositions.

Haptics

Haptics is a songwriter, producer, musician, and DJ based in Adelaide. She performs her tracks live using a MIDI controller and processed vocals, melding futuristic electronic instruments with pop melodies to create up-beat electronic-dance-pop tunes. She has independently released over 20 tracks and continues to re-define her sound as she discovers new genres and inspirations. From musical beginnings as an acoustic singer-songwriter growing up in Townsville, over time she has gravitated towards the technical side of music creation, honing her skills as a producer and incorporating electronic instruments, faster tempos, and deeper basses into her tracks. Over the past two years she has translated her songs to a live format through several performances in Adelaide’s local scene, and started DJ-ing to explore even more possibilities.

CZUCHWICKI

CZUCHWICKI is a drummer, producer, DJ and multimedia artist from Adelaide. Always a proponent of rhythmically complex styles, his productions contain influences from the left-field electronica, trip-hop and industrial movements and are performed in an innovative live show entitled Phosphenes which blends electronic percussion with controllerism, singing and audioreactive visuals. As a DJ CZUCHWICKI favours techno, electro and EBM, cutting his teeth in the Melbourne house-party scene and emerging on the Valencia club scene with sets at Funkadelia, Mat32, La Fabrica de Hielo and La Palau de Reina Sofia. After founding SWAY in Valencia in 2023, CZUCHWICKI is proud to present the follow up with a new home on Kaurna Land
