FIONA BOYES BAND

Fiona Boyes is an Australian blues music legend but based in NSW so we don’t see enough of her playing: but that changes on Friday 8 November when she hits the Red Stage with Milush Priochard (bass) and Mario Marino (drums).
An internationally recognised as a blues guitarist, vocalist, bandleader and songwriter reviewers have likened her musical performances to taking a ‘virtual roots music road trip through the American Deep South’.
Fiona has 8 nominations in the USA Blues Foundation ‘Blues Music Awards’ and was inducted into the BMV ‘Blues Hall of Fame’ in 2022.
As one US reviewer put it, ‘There are many blues musicians who keep the old songs alive, but far fewer who write new songs of revealing imagination to freshen up the genre’.
Fiona’s latest album of original material, ‘Ramblified’, is her 13th release and features her signature songwriting, solo fingerpicking and unique cigarbox guitars.
