With special guest Jen Lush
“Life is not a series of gig lamps symmetrically arranged; life is a luminous halo, a semi transparent envelope surrounding us from the beginning of consciousness to the end.”
― Virginia Woolf
Ben Salter is back for another turn around the south east corner of the country. He’s just returned from a four month tour of duty in Europe & Japan where he played forty-six shows, many to very few people, a couple in front of many thousands of people (at Binic Folks Blues Festival in Brittany, France) and all points in between.
He’s calling it the “Gig Lamps” tour, after a song from his most recent album, “Sublimation”, based on the above quote by Virginia Woolf.
This will be Salter’s last tour for a while, probably, as he continues his semi-permanent residency at MONA Museum from Christmas.
