Colour The Light Album Launch with Djawbreaker and Grace Vandals

Perennial favourites, Max Savage and the False Idols launch their first new album since 2016 on Sunday, October 20th: 2024.
Darkly majestic, filled with pulsing synthesisers and duelling guitars, Colour The Light is a haunting collection of songs that spans devastating ballads, uplifting dance anthems and ghostly rock-and-roll elegy.
Written over six years between Port Arthur, Melbourne, London and Berlin the songs explore a long arc of yearning, grief and loss: Music from a place where heartbreak lurks behind and hope lies ahead, just out of reach.
Recorded at Wizard Tone Studios over five days at the end of April 2022, the past two years have seen the band tinker, hone and craft the album into an intricate and cohesive work
Joining the band will be local Neo Noir darlings, Djawbreaker and singer, songwriter and storyteller, Grace Vandals.
