CST Big Band Plays Ellington and Basie

Join the Central Standard Time Big Band on the last Wednesday of this month to celebrate the music of the two most significant names in big band jazz: William Basie and Edward Kennedy Ellington.

This will be a rare opportunity to hear Count Basie’s much vaunted Kansas City Suite in it’s entirety, alongside some of the Ellington band’s most memorable numbers.

– Under 18s can attend without a parent or guardian
– Tickets $20 cash/card at the door
– Doors open 6.30, music from 7pm-9pm
– Last Wednesday of every month at Norwood Live
