Down Under: The Songs That Shaped Australia (Welcome Home Show!)

Sun 1 Sep @ 4:30 pm

The multi award-winning live music sensation, Down Under – The Songs That Shaped Australia, is heading to Edinburgh in August but we don’t want our incredible Adelaide audiences to miss out on the music so we’re putting on a very special Father’s Day performance at The Wheaty on Sunday 1 September. Strictly limited tickets!

This is a celebration of Aussie hit-makers and songs that spurred change throughout history. Australian music is vast and varied. It captures the beauty and brutality of the land with storytelling at the forefront. With powerhouse vocals by acclaimed songstress Michelle Pearson with Jessica Bigg and an incredible five-piece band featuring Sam Millar, Luke Ciaramella, Michael Ciaramella, Brendan Williams and led by co-writer and musical director Aaron Nash. Don’t miss this nostalgic homecoming that will have you on your feet with classics from INXS, Paul Kelly, Cold Chisel, Midnight Oil, ACDC, Tina Arena and more, while reminiscing about Australia’s musical history and the artists’ guts and determination.

This is an extended version of our standard ‘Down Under’ show with added songs, stories and special performances. We are performing this extended show over two sets.

Tickets are $40 + a small booking fee if purchased prior to the performance.
If tickets are still available at the door they’ll be charged at $45. We expect this event to sell out so we recommend booking in advance.
