Starring acclaimed DJ YO! MAFIA alongside talented MCs, vocalists and dancers, this immersive experience celebrates the rich tapestry of hip hop culture through music, dance and storytelling. HEY DJ – A History of Hip Hop takes you on an educational yet body movin’ journey through the streets of the Bronx to today’s global phenomenon.
YO! MAFIA leads the charge with her 25 years of DJ herstory. Joined by some of Australia’s top MCs and vocalists including Eliza Wolfgramm (The Avalanches) and MC Kirk (Heaven, HQ, Big 90s Show, Planet), plus Adelaide’s own breakers, poplockers and hip hop dancers.
