JAZZMEIA HORN IN CONCERT
Be transported by jazz vocal sensation Jazzmeia Horn (USA) with Victor Gould (USA) on keys, Lyndon Gray (ADL) on bass and Jackson Mack (ADL) on drums for an intimate afternoon of dazzling jazz in the sublime setting of UKARIA Cultural Centre.
“Horn is among the most exciting young vocalists in jazz, with a proud traditionalism that keeps her tightly linked to the sound of classic figures like Nancy Wilson and Betty Carter, but a vivacity of spirit and conviction that places her firmly in the present.”— The New York Times
Performing material from her highly anticipated fourth studio album Messages – out 25 October – this marks her exhilarating return to UKARIA Cultural Centre.
Light lunch is available to order in advance.
Please note that UKARIA Cultural Centre do not have a chef on-site and as they wish to minimise food wastage, they ask that all light meals are pre-ordered.
Light lunch orders will close at 9am on Monday 21 October (unless sold out prior).
Expect an afternoon to delight the senses with deft arrangements and stunning vocals.
