As we prepare for 2025, excitement is already building for the New Year’s Eve celebrations at BSYC.
Get ready to reignite the spark of nostalgia DJ Andy Powers playing vinyl on the ‘wheels of steel’, as he takes you on an unforgettable journey through the most iconic hits of the 70’s thru 90’s, guaranteed to leave you feeling energized and inspired.
Watch the Fireworks Spectacle provided by The City of Holdfast Bay on Brighton Jetty at midnight from the Balcony.
Indulge in delicious offerings from the Kiosk Beach Bar and the on-site Food van/s from 3pm to 9pm.

What is the dress code for the night?
Dress to impress in your best RETRO OUTFIT, door prizes for best dress.
Can you cater to dietary requirements?
The Beach Bar Kiosk, provides a selection of Gluten free and Vegetarian options.

What time can we enter the Upper Deck?
You will be allowed entrance to the Upper Deck from 6pm. If you arrive earlier, you are welcome to join in the festivities in the Mariners Bar located on the ground floor.
What time does the show finish?
The DJ will conclude at 1:00am. With last drinks served by the bar at 12:45 am. Patrons are asked to exit the venue by 1:30 am.
Seating
Seating for NYE will be limited and located in the Trophy room. Seating will be allocated on a first come first serve basis and will be seated in groups of 10. With a minimum of 10 people required to secure a private table. Individual bookings and smaller groups may be seated together to make up a table of 10. Groups looking to purchase their tickets individually are required to share the same group or company name. Without this information, we cannot guarantee if you have requested a table you will be seated together.
The main Upper deck room will be limited to High tables and stools (no reservations for high tables will apply) .
Seat allocation for the event will be determined by Brighton and Seacliff Yacht Club. All rights for table allocation are reserved with the venue. Table configurations and allocations cannot be guaranteed and are subject to change.
Cancellations/refunds
If you can no longer attend the event. Tickets are transferable so you can gift them to family/friends, or feel free to sell them on.
Can I bring Food and Drinks into the venue?
No, as BSYC is a licensed venue, therefore alcoholic, and non-alcoholic beverages can be purchased from the bar. All non-alcoholic drinks including water, (still water is provided for free), sparkling water, juice, soft drinks, sports drinks, energy drinks are also available for purchase and are prohibited to enter the function.
No food from external sources can be bought into the venue as food is available for purchase through the Kiosk Beach Bar, and food vans located on site.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
All guests must present a ticket to gain entry to the show. (Electronic or hard copy), Please ensure that all members of your group have their own individual ticket (electronic or printed) to present at entry (not the booking email).
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
This is a family event, however if the person is not 18, then the minor may not enter or remain on the premises between midnight and 5am (ID will be required)
What are my transport options getting to the event?
Public transport is readily available and within a short distance from the Brighton and Seacliff Yacht Club.
A public car park is available a short distance from the club as provided by the Holdfast City Council.
Will my photo be taken?
Photography may be taken at our shows and maybe uploaded to Facebook or Instagram or our webpage. If you prefer not to be photographed or have any concerns, kindly inform our staff as soon as possible. We value your privacy and will accommodate your preferences.
Venue
Wheelchair access is available by lift to the Upper Deck.
In the instance of unforeseen circumstances, the Club reserves the right to transfer to another venue. The group contact person will be informed in advance. No monetary compensation will be offered.
