Originating from the heart of Adelaide, Australia, Oscar the Wild embodies the essence of indie rock with a blend of heartfelt emotion and infectious energy. They’ve etched their name on the
local live circuit, sharing stages with the likes of Bloc Party, The Killers, Something for Kate, Pale Waves, and Grinspoon as well as many more. Known for their electrifying performances, Oscar the Wild is forging a path in Adelaide’s music scene, resonating deeply with audiences through their soulful and exhilarating sound. Keep a close watch on Oscar the Wild as they enter into a new era of enchanting listeners and expanding their musical journey with sincerity and passion.
Placement are a post-punk/noise-rock collective based in Kaurna Land (Adelaide, Australia). Through a juxtaposition of experimental feedback, dissonance, spoken word and rich vocal harmonies, Placement deliver a ferocious and often partially improvised live show influenced by performance art. Their debut single “Harder” was released in early 2021 and met with high acclaim, receiving radio play Australia wide, and regular rotation on Double J. In their
short time together, Placement have played countless sold-out shows, headlined venues including The Gov and Ancient World and have shared the stage with acts such as Hockey Dad, Flyying Colours, Paradise Club and Willis Drummond (Spain). Placement will release a three track, 7” vinyl EP late 2021, including their debut single “Harder”.
