LOWLIFE is hosting a night of Adelaide’s most charming underground artists on the 26th of April.
Our first act of the night is 4-piece surf rock group PENNIES . Whilst new to the live scene, this band has created a classic Aussie rock sound that has instantly declared them as an in-demand group for live venues in the city. The band has an energetic and electrifying live set, with music available on streaming, and a great sense of comradery to tie it all together.
As our sweet/sour pairing, this group is accompanied by the alternative rock group MAIDEN NAME . With a strong focus on creating bleak, dreary soundscapes with piercing melodies and introspective themes, this band aims to craft a live set that is not quickly forgotten.
Joining these two acts is MONYA , a 3-piece melancholic indie rock project, with a strong focus on interconnected instrumental arrangements and heart-aching vocal melodies.The band is fresh to the live music scene, despite this, their sound oozes professionalism and raw talent.
