Tasmanian singer-songwriter Pete Cornelius has been captivating audiences with his authentic blues, roots, and Americana sound for over 25 years. At just 41, Pete’s music tells the story of a life lived fully, deeply connected to the raw, rugged soul of Tasmania.
His live performances are nothing short of electrifying, with a dynamic band of guitar, bass, and drums delivering a stripped-back, powerful sound. Pete has played some of Australia’s most iconic festivals, including Bluesfest, Gympie Muster, and Blues on Broadbeach, and taken his music internationally to festivals like Taste of Chicago and the Prairie Dog Blues Festival in Wisconsin.
Pete’s latest album, Southern (released February 7, 2025), debuted at #1 on the ARIA Country Charts. Co-produced with Matt Fell, the album features collaborations with Tasmania’s finest artists, including Claire Anne Taylor and Ange Boxall.
Pete’s music remains a passionate, authentic reflection of life, love, and the spirit of Tasmania.
