Much like the band itself, Placement’s greatly anticipated debut album, Insect is wild and uncontainable; due for release on the 27th of June.

Building upon acclaim of the Tarntanya/Adelaide based collective’s first two singles, Inertia/Heavy Lids and More a Curse, the album’s third single and title track, Insect, assertively draws the listener to a dreamlike, unhinged reality of melancholic, crystalline guitars that sway like a pendulum between dissonance and desolation. The song peels apart, seizing control of the dystopian yet potently Australian sonic landscape it built, rising intensely to an irresistible and unforgettable wave of
anthemic melody tethered to the uncertainty of what could come next.

Following an eagerly anticipated hometown show at Tarntanya/Adelaide institution, the Crown & Anchor, Placement will launch their expansive record with a run of shows across the East Coast of Australia throughout July and August, offering a limited, translucent red vinyl pressing available at shows.
