Rock-and-roll meets 70 years of wine science in a rip-snorting new show from Adelaide rocker Max Savage and the Australian Wine Research Institute.
An unconventional collaboration between the world’s most prestigious wine research institution and a rag-tag crew of local musicians, the show is sure to be a highlight of this year’s National Science Week.
Cutting-edge research into tractor automation comes to life as grizzled indie grunge, the story of Australia’s adoption of the screwcap as delta blues, and the finer points of microbiological taints in commercial winemaking practice as a groovy latin mood.
Expect bad jokes, great science and a rollicking good time for anybody interested in wine—be they industry insiders, grizzled vintage veterans or complete neophytes.
