Stormy-Lou:
Stormy-Lou are an indie-rock foursome from the coast of Kaurna Land/Adelaide. Characterised by their honest style of songwriting and electric live performances, the band shares their experience as young, queer musicians living on beautiful Australian soil. For fans of Bec Stevens, Camp Cope, and Angie McMahon.
This foursome spent the start of 2024 jumping on huge festival lineups: WOMADelaide, Chilled out, Fired Up, and Swirlfest — as well as venturing outside SA and performing alongside legendary acts The Buoys, Beddy Rays, Rum Jungle, Puree, The Tullamarines, West Thebarton, Bones and Jones, and The Velvet Club. Stormy-Lou were showcased by MusicSA in 2023 and are set for an explosive ‘24/’25 season with continued touring and the highly-anticipated release of their debut EP.
Frontwoman Mikaeli Stoker joins lead guitarist Lachlan Nesbitt, bassist Alex Flynn Taylor, and drummer Hari Starick to form Adelaide’s next big export: Stormy-Lou… the storm is coming…

Local the Neighbour (Melb):
David (aka Local the Neighbour) did an excessive amount of training to be a jazz drummer at the ‘Victorian College of the Arts’ and ‘UCLA’ (Los Angles).
After an early quarter life crisis, David made a ‘jexit’ (jazz exit), realising he wanted
to return back to his roots of playing rock music like his favourite childhood bands.
From there he began playing with artists such as Fan Girl,
JIM ALXNDR, and recently going on to join the indie-rock band
Garage Sale as their new drummer.
Armed with these experiences and approaches, Local the Neighbour was born in
order to explore the world of production and songwriting not as a drummer; the
ultimate outlet for David to live out his artistic creative endeavors. With DIY at its
core, the music is always self recorded with the help of close friends within his
community. Local the Neighbour takes influence from artists like MJ Lenderman, Alex G, Paramore, Hovvdy and Slow Pulp.
