Classically trained at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Oliver composes forward-thinking electronic music transcending genres of breakbeat, house and brooding electronica.
His productions initially caught the attention of Alan Fitzpatrick, who supported and released the debut Exit Points EP in February 2022 featuring the hit ‘Closer’. This tune put Oliver on the map as one to watch, nearing two million streams across Spotify and Apple Music. It also featured as the closing track in &Me’s Keinemusik Radio Show, and was selected by Hudson Mohawke for his Mixmag Cover Mix. It then landed on the radar of Innervisions founder Dixon, who played it in a series of all-night-long DJ sets across Paris, London, Milan & L.A.
The success of Closer built a sizable curiosity for the young producer, and Oliver followed up with ‘You Forget’ – a luscious collaboration with longtime friend Keepa on Solomun’s own label 2Diy4. The track received immediate support from Pete Tong in his ‘Month in Dance’ show on BBC’s Radio 1.
