Unapologetically political and here to take the piss, this fiercely feminist phenomenon slams to the stage and rips through a set of original tracks while fusing rock, grunge, post-punk and neo-pop with weird-arse theatrics!
As sisters in hormonal swings, The BandShe formed in Adelaide in May 2022 making an instant impression on audiences with their sharp humour, raw energy and untamed edge. Together they give voice to issues that make them wanna SCREAM: the oppressive patriarchal system, gender inequality, discrimination against marginalised people…and the inconvenience of hot flushes!
The three core members, Jo Zealand, Bindi Blacher and Willow J Conway, along with support members Kit Withers and Dylan Woolcock, bring laughter, tears and tude to every show—no frills, just Y-fronts, footy socks and a theatrically sizzling show not to be missed!!!
