Paying homage to the greatest of the blues harp and guitar masters – Little Walter, Muddy Waters, Sonny Boy Williamson, T-Bone Walker – The TinMen shape their sound to fit comfortably inside a nifty, nimble four-piece combo that shimmies and shakes in all the right places. Screamin’ Martin Davies, TinMen’s guitarist elect, lead vocalist and gentleman of modest means, wisely spending his most creatively fertile years whittlin’ away a whole batch of new The TinMen original songs. Attaching just the right amount of moanin’ and hollerin’ to nifty riffs that will get you up and dancin’ no matter what time of day, The Tin Men have now fabricated a mighty collection of new blues standards from the heartland of Adelaide’s Western suburbs.

With Tony Lewis on howlin’ harmonica and sweet vocals, Dave Sly whacking drums and barking out backing vocals and non sequiters and Chris Woods having a fine yet sensible and solid time on bass guitar, this sturdy quartet has shaped a proud and defiant TinMen sound – true blues, through and through.
