Los Angeles post-hardcore legends TouchΓ© AmorΓ© are heading Down Under this July for an Australian headline tour, bringing their latest album βSpiral In A Straight Lineβ to stages across the country. Joining them as main support for the entire run is special guests, California alt-rockers Militarie Gun.
Since forming in Los Angeles in 2007, TouchΓ© AmorΓ© have become one of the most impactful bands in modern post-hardcore. They return to Australia after performing at the inaugural New Bloom Festival in 2024 headlined by Movements and Citizen. Their upcoming headliner is set to spotlight the bandβs latest artistic chapter while honouring the legacy theyβve built over the past decade. Fans can expect a mix of fresh material and beloved cuts from βStage Fourβ, βLamentβ, βParting the Sea Between Brightness and Meβ and more.
The full 8-date tour is supported by Militarie Gun, a truly uncategorizable band. Led by vocalist Ian Shelton, the bandβs debut full-length, βLife Under The Gunβ, is almost impossible to describe without bouncing between contradictions. Is it abnormally aggressive pop music or is it unusually catchy hardcore? Is it deeply intellectual or is it satisfyingly primal? Is it a vulnerable attempt to unpack lifelong cycles of hurt, or is it a collection of world-beating, absurdist punk anthems? In the end, the answer is obvious: itβs all of it. Itβs Militarie Gun.
